Reject the Recall

What the community is saying…

“This recall is an insulting waste of precious resources. I hope voters soundly reject this chilling effort to erode confidence in upstanding public servants who are working hard on behalf of the community.”

Courtney Neron
Oregon State Representative House District 26

“I support all of my fellow council members and the mayor in the hard work that we do. Join me in voting NO on this recall.”

Marc Manelis
Current King City Councilor

“This recall is an insulting waste of precious resources. I hope voters soundly reject this chilling effort to erode confidence in upstanding public servants who are working hard on behalf of the community.”

Courtney Neron
Oregon State Representative House District 26

“King City voters should soundly reject the recall campaign against the King City mayor and councilors this February. The effort is being driven by personal agendas that are dividing the community and preventing good opportunities from coming to fruition for the City’s future. The Council has worked hard, done their job well, and they deserve our support—not a recall.”

Jerry Willey
Washington County Commissioner

“King City residents should vote NO on this radical recall election this February. Our communities are better than this and your mayor and councilors should remain exactly where the voters put them just months ago—in office.”

John Cook
Former Mayor of Tigard

“The King City Mayor and Councilors are committed to doing what is best for the future of King City. Recalling the Council would do immediate and long-term damage to the operations of the city. Vote no on this recall.”

Karen Emerson
Former TTSD Board Member

“Our volunteer, voter-elected King City leaders have been doing a great job enhancing our already-great community.  They actively listen, care about what we have to say, and advocate for our needs. Vote NO on this recall.”

Stephanie Hartman
King City Mom and Community Volunteer

“I have seen firsthand how the King City mayor and councilors really care about the livability of the people in King City. They work hard, volunteer their time, and represent the community well. Residents should vote NO on this unreasonable and harmful recall.”

Margaret Doherty
Former State Representative for King City

“As residents of King City we have an opportunity to show our Councilors support in a time that they need it. I do not feel comfortable having City Councilors who were not chosen by myself and my neighbors to represent me.”

David Nicoli
King City neighbor

“King City Republicans should vote NO on the recall election against our Council in February. Our councilors have worked professionally, honestly, and with integrity to give us a voice. The right vote is a ‘NO’ vote.”

Dan and Carolyn Harris
King City Republicans

“For the benefit of the neighborhoods, city, community, and democracy itself, King City voters should do the right thing and vote no on this recall.”

Jason Snider
Former Mayor of Tigard
